This position plays a key role in working with management to improve operations, sales, profit, and employee development in order to attain customer satisfaction. This position also requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and exceptional interpersonal communication and leadership skills.***Salary Disclaimer: For those residing in New York, the salary for this position is $95,000/year. ***What You'll DoOperation Supervisor Management:Provide direction, training, support, supervision, and motivation to operation supervisors including their downline reportsEnsure that approved policies and objectives are clearly understood and effectively applied to each operating unitSupervise and review the preparation of forecast numbers for each of his/her departmentsReview performance and causes of significant variances, along with corrective action plansConduct performance and wage reviews for department supervisionBusiness Management:Ensure timely production reports and accurate record information to operating activities for such purposes as control, planning, accounting and required customer reportsKeep track of staffing requirements and hire new talent as needed to correspond with specific duties and skill setsEnsure monthly operation reports listing any unusual events – major expenditures, legal actions, overtime payments, etc. are distributed to appropriate department(s)/personnelCustomer Communication:Handle or defer all customer complaints to the appropriate authoritiesProfessionally represent the company to clients and their customersProvide general information about the meter services to customers, when applicableOther duties as assigned.About YouMust haves:Education: High School Diploma or GEDExperience: 3 years of experience in an operations management or supervisory role.3 years of experience in the field of damage prevention directly managing teams of line locate technicians.Nice to haves:Education: Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management or Business AdministrationExperience: 5 years of experience in operations management or supervisory role.
