– Draw blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations, ensuring safety and skillfulness – Prepare specimens for laboratory testing accurately and efficiently in accordance with established procedures and protocols – Explain procedures to patients to foster trust and confidence, creating a professional and welcoming environment – Maintain accurate records and documentation of collections, adhering to confidentiality and compliance standards – Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff – Perform clerical duties such as data entry and verifying patient information as needed – Demonstrate leadership behaviors by focusing on process excellence and patient care quality – Perform specimen processing duties both in forensic and clinical settings as directed

– Proficient in venipuncture and blood collection techniques – Ability to provide high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment – Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with patients and staff – Keyboard and data entry experience – Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

– High school diploma or equivalent required – Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington) – Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred – Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; 1+ years preferred – Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed – Effective communication skills; preferred candidate speaks English and additional languages as a plus – Reliable availability based on staffing needs in a clinical setting in the region
