RN Supervisor

The RN Supervisor manages nursing/ATC's activities for multiple departments, provides clinical expertise in the nursing process, and coordinates care across all staffing levels.

Qualifications:

• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA); National Nursing Certification within 3 years - Varies; Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
• Education: Bachelor's Degree: Nursing (Required)

Work Experience:

• Manages daily nursing activities and workflow of Patient Care Department(s) in conjunction with orthopedic/sports medicine administrative team.
• Performs essential job functions of direct reports.
• Coordinates activities of Patient Care Support staff in collaboration with ATC Coordinator
• Recommends and initiates various personnel actions including but not limited to hiring, performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and promotions; make work assignments and review and edit work of direct reports.
• Ensures staff members are adequately trained and are competent to perform all required job tasks.
• Resolves work related issues, or assists employees in solving work related issues.
• Participates in development, planning and monitoring of fiscal budget(s).
• Assists in development and review of department policies, procedures, standing orders, and competencies.
• Manages scheduling practices in all areas
• Serves as Administrative approval for employee timecards
• Participates in supervisor rotation for daily safety call for departments, completes event reporting follow up review

• Serves in the role of Orthopaedic Program Coordinator in collaboration with the Joint Accreditation Program Coordinator

Compensation and Benefits: The compensation range for this position is $41 per hour - $70.52 per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
