Non-CDL Driver / Mover
Liberty Moving & Storage in Commack, NY is looking for a full-time Non-CDL Driver / Mover to join our team. If you enjoy staying active, working with a solid crew, and taking pride in doing the job right, this could be a great fit. You'll earn $18$24/hour based on experience, plus a strong benefits package and real opportunities for growth within the company.
The impact you'll make: Shifts vary within normal business hours, giving you flexibility while keeping evenings and downtime realistic. As a Non-CDL Driver / Mover, you will:
- Operate company box trucks (non-CDL required)
- Load and unload household goods and commercial equipment
- Safely transport customer belongings
- Lead and work alongside moving helpers
- Wrap, protect, and handle items with care
- Complete basic paperwork and inventories
- Deliver professional, courteous service to customers
This is hands-on, physical work. You won't be stuck behind a desk - you'll be part of a team that gets things done.
Our ideal non-CDL driver / mover:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience driving box trucks a must
- Comfortable driving in NYC and surrounding areas a must
- Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy items a must
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Moving experience is a plus - but we're willing to train motivated individuals
