Security Officer Access Screening Calabasas, CA Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule Thur 02:45 PM – 10:45 PM Fri 02:45 PM – 10:45 PM Sat 02:45 PM – 10:45 PM Sun 02:45 PM – 10:45 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by following site‑specific access procedures, verifying entry authorization, and addressing questions in a professional manner. Monitor entry and exit points to help control access to the location, document visitor activity, and report unusual or unauthorized activity according to post orders. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and support emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify security‑related concerns, hazards, and/or maintenance issues for follow‑up. Complete required reports, logs, and communication records related to daily activity, incidents, and security‑related observations. Minimum Requirements Be at least 21 years of age. Access Control/Badge experience is preferred. A Guard Card/License is preferred. Customer Service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
