Physical Therapist - Rehabilitation - (PT - Rehab)
StartDate: 9/14/2026 Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $2528.00 - $2605.00 This Physical Therapist opportunity is based in Hettinger, North Dakota, a welcoming rural community known for its friendly atmosphere, open spaces, and relaxed pace of life. Hettinger offers a blend of small-town charm and access to outdoor recreation, including prairie trails, hunting, fishing, and nearby lakes and parks. You may also provide services in swing bed or transitional rehab settings, helping patients regain independence and mobility so they can safely return home.At the remote outpatient clinic, you will manage a diverse caseload that can include post-surgical rehabilitation, orthopedic conditions, balance and gait issues, and general musculoskeletal concerns. This environment offers a high degree of autonomy, allowing you to shape treatment plans, influence clinic processes, and build strong relationships with patients over time. The outpatient setting is ideal for a therapist who is comfortable with independent practice and who enjoys educating patients and families on long-term health and functional goals.A typical day may include conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, providing one-on-one therapeutic interventions, coordinating discharge plans, and collaborating closely with providers and nursing staff. You will transition between inpatient and outpatient settings as needed, with schedules structured to balance patient needs and treatment continuity. The role may require travel between the main hospital and the remote clinic, offering variety and the opportunity to serve multiple communities.Patient ratios are designed to allow for focused, high-quality care, ensuring that you can spend meaningful time with each patient. The inpatient area includes a modest number of beds typical of a rural, community-based hospital, which supports a collaborative culture where every team members contribution is highly valued.
