You'll counsel executives and leaders across the organization on complex HR matters, translating business goals into people strategy in a fast-changing environment. Your leadership will directly shape employee engagement, performance, and talent planning as OpenGov grows.ResponsibilitiesServe as a strategic partner to leaders, helping them achieve business results while strengthening team performance, culture, and retentionDevelop and drive HR programs and initiatives across performance management, compensation, employee development, and succession planningCoach leaders to build strong performance management capability, including delivering effective feedback and addressing issues directlyLead organizational design, re-org, and change management efforts, including acquisition integration workChampion an AI-native culture within the Pune HR team and across the business, redesigning how teams workAnalyze people trends and metrics to identify opportunities and shape people strategy, programs, and policyAssist in building and deliver training and development content across the company, creating tailored paths for client groupsPartner with Legal and HR Centers of Excellence to ensure consistent, compliant HR practice across the organizationAct as a champion and advocate for OpenGov's culture and values at every level of the companyRequirements and Preferred ExperienceBachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent work experience12+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant experience advising senior and executive leadershipStrong knowledge of HR operational practice, including employee relations, compensation, leave management, and employment lawExceptional judgment and communication skills, with the ability to navigate difficult conversations and push back when neededExcellent priority setting and project/time management skills with the flexibility and adaptability to respond to shifting business needsHigh professional standards and a strong customer experience mentality with an energetic, positive attitude can quickly build partnerships, relationships, and trustExperience using AI-native tools to accelerate workflows and improve efficiencyExperience scaling HR functions in a high-growth environment preferredProficiency with HRIS, engagement survey tools, and performance management systemsCompensation:Chicago, IL: $200,000 - $246,000On target ranges above include base plus a portion of variable compensation that is earned based on company and individual performance.The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.Why OpenGov?A Mission That Matters.
