We are seeking a SPD Chip Technician /Operator to support production equipment, maintain cleanroom operations, and assist engineering teams in keeping manufacturing systems running at peak performance. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and working in a clean, technology-driven environment. You'll play an important role in improving equipment reliability, supporting production goals, and maintaining a safe and efficient workplace. Responsibilities * Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on production equipment. * Assist with installing, upgrading, and commissioning manufacturing equipment. * Monitor equipment performance and report abnormal operating conditions. * Support cleanroom operations by maintaining critical utility systems and production equipment. * Assist with chemical, gas, and material inventory while following established safety procedures. * Help maintain equipment documentation, maintenance records, and preventive maintenance schedules. * Build, modify, or improve equipment and tooling as directed by engineering. * Perform basic electrical wiring, soldering, plumbing, or mechanical repairs as needed. * Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to maximize equipment uptime. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment. Qualifications & Requirements Education * High School Diploma or GED required. * Associate degree or technical certification preferred. * Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field is a plus. Experience * Minimum two years of experience in manufacturing, equipment maintenance, industrial maintenance, or semiconductor production environments. * Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or process equipment preferred. * Experience working in cleanroom or highly regulated manufacturing environments is a plus. * Experience with pumps, chillers, filtration systems, compressed gases, or utility equipment is beneficial. Skills * Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. * Ability to read and follow technical procedures and work instructions. * Basic electrical wiring, soldering, plumbing, or machine shop experience is a plus. * Strong organizational and communication skills. * Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality. * Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Physical Requirements * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. * Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment while wearing required personal protective equipment. * Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including noise, heat, and industrial manufacturing settings.
