The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) helps patients/residents with comprehensive and personalized health care needs under the supervision of a nurse. The CNA assists patients/residents with activities of daily living to include bathing, dressing, eating, grooming, toileting and exercising./ph3Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Duties and Responsibilities:/h3ulliUnder the direction of the Director of Nursing or CNA Supervisor, the CNAs work closely with the nursing staff to ensure coordination of patient care./liliProvides physical support for patients/residents daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring to/from bed, toileting, walking, standing, or exercising./liliAssists patients with daily medication and supplements./liliEnsures proper resident/patient diet based on their dietary restrictions./liliExamines patients for open wounds, bruises, or blood in urine./liliNotes and communicates patient/resident behavior and changes in mood./liliCleans rooms and bed linens./liliChecks and records vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate under the supervision of a licensed nurse./liliAnswers to patient calls and needs./liliAll other duties, as assigned./li/ulh3Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Qualifications and Skills:/h3ulliGood collaboration and teamwork skills with the nursing staff./liliFamiliarity with symptoms and signs of improvement for a number of medical conditions./liliAbility to read, write, speak and understand English./liliDemonstrates basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications./li/ulh3Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Education and Experience:/h3ulliHigh School Diploma or GED./liliState Certified Nursing Assistant License/Certification./liliMust be CPR Certified./li/ulh3Physical Requirements:/h3ulliWalking, reaching, bending, lifting, extended sitting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, ability to distinguish smells and temperatures, all with or without the aid of mechanical devices is required./liliMust be able to push, pull move and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet./liliMay be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations./liliMeet all health requirements as needed./li/ulh3Citadel Healthcare Benefits:/h3ulliDaily Pay Competitive Compensation/lili401(k) with company match/liliBlue Cross Blue Shield Medical insurance./liliDental, Vision, and Disability insurance/liliInnovative Training Programs/liliOpportunity for Growth and Advancement/liliPaid Time Off/li/ulpCitadel Healthcare has a long and successful history of providing long and short-term skilled nursing care.
