About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Development to play a pivotal role in the organization's mission of neighborhood transformation. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the fundraising strategy, with a focus on building and sustaining philanthropic partnerships to support the company's impact. This includes operationalizing a significant revenue engine and driving a national campaign. The SVP will be tasked with translating strategic goals into action, managing a high-performing development team, and ensuring the execution of annual and multi-year revenue targets. Key responsibilities also include overseeing the fundraising strategy across various revenue verticals, managing a portfolio of high-value prospects, and building the necessary infrastructure to support a national fundraising operation. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in nonprofit fundraising, with a proven track record in securing multi-year, six-, seven-, and eight-figure commitments. The role requires expertise in institutional foundation relations and high-net-worth individual donor cultivation, as well as experience in designing and executing national fundraising campaigns. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and people management skills, be adept at building a culture of philanthropy, and have a deep commitment to the mission and values of the organization. Proficiency in modern fundraising technology and a background in community development, economic mobility, education, or philanthropy is highly desirable. The position demands a strategic thinker with the ability to balance visionary thinking with attention to detail, and a commitment to centering racial equity and community prosperity in all development practices.
