Job Summary:

Neonatal Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area. The organization is seeking qualified RNs to provide specialized neonatal care across multiple units at three hospitals. The role involves floating between units as needed, including the Special Care Nursery (SCN), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and Infant Care Center (ICC). Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of orientation.

• Minimum Years of Experience: 2.0 years in NICU nursing


• Consolidated Qualifications: Graduate of accredited school of nursing, Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license or Minnesota Temporary Permit-RN, BLS certification, NRP certification, and 2 years NICU nursing experience including the ability to care for infants requiring assisted ventilation (high frequency ventilator, conventional vents, non-invasive methods such as bubble CPAP, RAM cannula, HFNC), pre and post operative care of critically ill newborns (including those with tracheostomies), pre-term infants including extremely low birth weight (ELBW) population, and a strong knowledge of developmental care.


• Schedule: Rotating shifts with 12-hour shifts (7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.), scheduled for 48 hours per week.


• Float: Float rotation may be required.
