Check out our web page The Yard Manager is a hands‑on leader responsible for overseeing the daily movement, staging, and preparation of Spacecube gear and other structural systems within the yard and warehouse environment. This role ensures safe and efficient operations, supervises the yard team and over‑hires, and maintains adequate stock of consumables and rigging components required for outbound projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, telehandler certified, and comfortable working in fast‑paced environments with shifting priorities. Key Responsibilities Yard & Warehouse Operations Lead and direct daily yard activities, including pulling, staging, loading, and returning Spacecube gear and other structural components for project deployments Schedule and coordinate movement of equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, and telehandlers Ensure all gear is properly cleaned, organized, inventoried, and loaded in accordance with project timelines and transport regulations Collaborate closely with the Installation Manager, Project Managers, and Logistics to ensure yard operations are aligned with installation requirements Other duties as assigned Team Leadership Supervise a team of yard personnel and temporary labor (over‑hires), ensuring clear communication, accountability, and productivity Assign daily responsibilities and conduct toolbox talks and safety check‑ins Support onboarding and training of new team members, including equipment handling and yard protocols Inventory & Consumables Management Track and maintain consumable supplies (hardware, straps, rigging, cleaning supplies, adhesives, etc.) to support yard and field operations Submit requisitions for replenishment and ensure proper storage and labeling of all inventory items Assist with physical inventory counts and reporting in collaboration with the Inventory & Logistics team Safety & Equipment Ensure all yard operations adhere to OSHA and company safety standards Operate and supervise use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and telehandlers, ensuring all operators are trained and certified Conduct pre‑shift equipment inspections and elevate maintenance or repair needs Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free yard environment Compensation $26.00–$34.00 hourly Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent 3+ years of warehouse, yard, or production leadership experience, ideally within the live events, scenic, or modular structure industries Hands‑on experience with telehandlers and heavy lifting gear (certification preferred) Strong knowledge of inventory processes and safe material handling practices Proactive leadership style with the ability to motivate teams and meet tight deadlines Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to lift 75+ lbs., work outdoors in various weather conditions, and stand/walk for extended periods Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401K Match Paid Holidays Paid Vacation Per‑Diem #J-18808-Ljbffr
