Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse for a Trauma Surgery unit in Atlanta, GA. This position involves caring for patients with complex surgical and trauma-related conditions in a fast-paced acute care environment.

The ideal candidate must have strong Med/Surg experience, excellent critical thinking skills, and the ability to manage high-acuity patient populations.

Common Patient Diagnoses

• Spinal Trauma
• Neuro Trauma
• Surgical Trauma
• Gunshot Wounds
• Quadriplegic Patients
• Paraplegic Patients

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Trauma Surgery unit
• Monitor and assess patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate charting and patient documentation using EPIC
• Ensure patient safety and quality care standards are maintained

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Active RN license required
• Current certifications required
• Strong trauma or surgical patient care experience preferred
