T47 International is seeking a Quality Control Monitor / Trainer to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Protective Service (FPS) contract at Redstone Arsenal. This hybrid role is responsible for overseeing contract quality assurance programs while developing, administering, and maintaining training standards for armed security personnel.

The Quality Control Monitor / Trainer serves as a key member of the management team by ensuring contractual compliance, operational readiness, personnel accountability, training effectiveness, and continuous improvement across the security workforce.

• Monitor contractor performance against contract requirements and Statement of Work (SOW) standards.
• Conduct inspections of personnel, equipment, uniforms, and operational readiness.
• Verify attendance, staffing levels, post coverage, and schedule compliance.
• Review and maintain quality assurance documentation and records.
• Conduct audits and inspections of required licenses, permits, and certifications.
• Verify current firearms qualification records for armed personnel.
• Document findings and recommend corrective actions when deficiencies are identified.
• Prepare quality assurance reports and performance assessments.

• Develop, coordinate, and deliver security and firearms training programs.
• Conduct classroom, practical, and remedial training sessions.
• Ensure personnel maintain required certifications and qualifications.
• Maintain training schedules, records, and documentation.
• Evaluate employee performance and training effectiveness.
• Promote best practices in security operations, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Support onboarding and recurring training requirements.
• Ensure compliance with DHS/FPS contractual training requirements.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in quality assurance, contract oversight, training, law enforcement, military instruction, or security operations.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Honorable military discharge, if applicable.
• Ability to work rotating schedules, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Military Instructor Training Course or equivalent civilian instructor certification.
• Range Safety Officer (RSO) certification or civilian equivalent when firearms instruction is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of firearms safety and qualification requirements.
• Ability to develop, administer, and evaluate training programs.
• Experience conducting inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.

• Active Secret Clearance preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
• DHS, FPS, federal contract, military, or law enforcement experience.
• Experience with contract quality assurance programs.
• Instructor certifications related to firearms, use of force, or security operations.
