Information Technology Support Technician

Our client is a Wealth Management organization with a beautiful HQ in Broomfield and offices in LA, Miami, and Houston. We're seeking an IT Support Technician to join our Broomfield-based technology team. This role provides front-line technical support to end-users, both on-site and remotely, with regular exposure to VIP customers whose schedules demand urgency, discretion, and independent judgment. The ideal candidate is organized, self-directed, and comfortable owning issues through resolution—while also helping the team document and train so knowledge doesn't live in any one person's head. Key Responsibilities Provide tier 1 and tier 2 troubleshooting in person, by phone, or by email—with a roughly even mix of on-site and remote support Meet ticket SLAs for initial response and resolution, including occasional after-hours or weekend coverage Perform root cause analysis and resolve independently where possible, escalating only when genuinely out of scope Keep customers informed with clear, timely ticket updates Onboarding, Offboarding & Inventory Management Handle new hire equipment setup, account provisioning, and technical orientations Handle account deprovisioning, access removal, and hardware collection and backup Maintain accurate, organized inventory records and stock levels; order equipment as needed Track hardware age and condition across the organization to keep refresh cycles proactive Documentation & Training Contribute to and maintain the IT support knowledge base Train employees on internal systems and cybersecurity best practices Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements Participate in IT team projects as needed, with growing ownership over time Collaborate with colleagues across security, business, and support functions Qualifications 3–5 years of IT support experience, with demonstrated ability to work independently and become productive quickly 3+ years supporting macOS and Apple hardware in an office environment, alongside Windows and iOS 2+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Entra ID 2+ years experience with MDM tools such as Jamf and Intune 2+ years experience with a ticketing system, unified communication platforms, remote management software, file storage systems, and security email gateway tools Exposure to enterprise networking environments, a plus Core Competencies Organization — Manages tickets, inventory, and hardware lifecycles with a methodical, detail-oriented approach Judgment—Prioritizes competing, time-sensitive requests and knows when to resolve versus elevate Communication — Clear, professional written and verbal communication with end-users and VIPs Ownership — Sees issues through to resolution and takes initiative without waiting to be asked Composure — Stays professional and steady when multiple urgent issues compete for attention Security Mindset — Applies security best practices by default Working Model This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Broomfield headquarters, with a roughly even mix of in-person and remote support responsibilities. Occasional after-hours or weekend availability is expected for urgent issues.
