NOW HIRING – LEVEL 1 CNC MACHINIST
Location: Blue Water Area, MI area
Pay: $20.00–$22.00/hour (Based on Experience)
Job Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire

Qualified Staffing is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Level 1 CNC Machinist for a reputable, well-established manufacturing company in the Blue Water Area.

This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on machining experience who is looking for long-term stability, career growth, and the opportunity to expand their skills.

Please Note: This is NOT a machine operator or button-pushing position. Candidates must have basic CNC setup knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and an understanding of machining processes.

Job Responsibilities

Perform basic CNC machine setups and adjustments.
Position, secure, and align parts using fixtures.
Read and interpret blueprints and machining specifications.
Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality.
Troubleshoot basic machining issues and make necessary adjustments.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of CNC machining experience required.
Basic CNC setup and fixturing experience.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience using micrometers and calipers.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Reliable attendance and a solid work history.
Willingness to learn, grow, and develop machining skills.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
