Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Job Description

The Wound Care Registered Nurse will be part of a specialized consulting team, providing recommendations and specialized care for patients with wound, ostomy, and/or continence needs. This role requires extensive knowledge and practical skills in wound care to effectively assess and manage patients' conditions.

Responsibilities

• Consult and collaborate with healthcare teams to address complex wound care needs.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on wound care management and related health conditions.
• Utilize Cerner for patient documentation and data management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Wound Care specialty.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Certified Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse (CWOCN) certification is required.
