Junior Consultant (AI Governance & Regulatory Support)
Seeking Junior Consultants with strong quantitative or computer science backgrounds to support AI Governance, Regulatory, and Audit activities. The role involves working with model owners, project teams, and governance stakeholders on testing, compliance, reporting, and governance execution activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support day-to-day administration of AI Governance forums and activities.
- Coordinate with model owners, project teams, audit, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Assist in governance reviews, testing, compliance tracking, and audit responses. Prepare governance reports, dashboards, presentations, and meeting materials.
- Track action items, risks, issues, and remediation activities. Support execution of governance and regulatory initiatives across AI/ML projects.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Master's degree in Quantitative Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in AI Governance, Risk, Compliance, Audit, Model Risk, or Analytics environments.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of governance, regulatory, and audit processes.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting/documentation tools.
Preferred skills:
- Exposure to AI/ML governance or model risk management frameworks. Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated environments.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, JIRA, or governance tools. Familiarity with Responsible AI and data governance concepts.
- Basic project management experience or Agile exposure.
Salary and other compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $80,000– $90,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
