Laundry Aide Westerly Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center Join our team at Westerly Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center as a Laundry Aide. Proudly supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services. Part-time opportunities available Sunday, Monday, and Thursday from 7-3. Same Day Pay! $16-17/hour. Responsibilities for Laundry Aide: Collect resident laundry from rooms in a timely and respectful manner. Wash, dry, and properly care for resident clothing and facility linens according to established procedures. Fold, sort, and return clean laundry to residents, ensuring items are delivered accurately and neatly. Maintain organized laundry areas and ensure equipment is used safely and properly. Assist with non-clinical support tasks as needed to support overall facility operations. Follow infection control procedures and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and sanitary environment. Report any issues with damaged or missing items to the appropriate staff. Qualifications for Laundry Aide: High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience as a Laundry Aide or in a housekeeping role preferred. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Ability to follow instructions, maintain attention to detail, and work effectively in a team environment.
