Johnson & Johnson seeks an experienced healthcare and government procurement attorney to provide strategic legal counsel on federal and state government transactions, pricing compliance, and procurement matters. The role involves advising multiple business units on complex regulatory requirements, leading compliance initiatives, and managing enterprise-wide legal risks.
Responsibilities
- Advise business units on federal and state procurement laws, contract requirements, and compliance programs
- Provide strategic counsel on government contracting implications of commercial strategies and pricing decisions
- Lead Government Contract Compliance Steering Committee and support compliance escalations and remediation
- Monitor and assess potential enterprise-wide consequences of legal, regulatory, and policy developments
- Drive cross-functional legal support and coordinate with business, compliance, finance, and government affairs teams
Requirements
- Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership in at least one state or D.C.
- Seven years combined experience in healthcare law and government procurement law
- Experience evaluating pharmaceutical or medical device pricing and access programs
- Strong analytical and communication skills to translate complex legal issues for business leaders
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional decision-making and lead enterprise initiatives
- Executive judgment, discretion, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Digital fluency and familiarity with AI-enabled legal technologies
