The responsibility of the NP or PA is to provide quality health care and treatment plans for patients to help in the prevention of disease and disability; identification of health problems; management of health problems; and referral with communication to the patients primary care provider./ppMinimum Educational Requirements:/pulliGraduation from a NLN accredited Nurse Practitioner program, MSN preferred./liliCertification by an approved organization according to the Maine State Board of Nursing./liliCurrent Maine State Licensure./liliGraduation from an accredited Physician Assistants program./liliCertification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants./liliCurrent Maine State Licensure.
