Accessibility Engineer
Join our dynamic team as an Accessibility Engineer where you will play a crucial role in enhancing the accessibility of our web applications. Your expertise will help ensure our digital experiences are inclusive and accessible to all users.
Location: Sunnyvale, CA or Austin, TX (hybrid - 3x/ week onsite)
Salary Range: Competitive salary based on experience
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
- 7 years of experience in Web Application Accessibility Standardization and W3C WAI
- Proficiency in identifying accessibility issues in design mockups and proposing improved interactions
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for accessibility improvements
- Experience with ARIA 1.2 and WCAG 2.2 specifications
- Familiarity with accessibility features such as VoiceOver, Hover Text, Switch Control, Voice Control, Invert Colors, Speak Screen, and Reduce Motion
- Experience working with React and git
