Shop Laborer / Detailer
Location: Dubuque, IA
Wage: $19/per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Summary: A local company in Dubuque is seeking a Shop Laborer and Detailer to support day-to-day operations by moving machinery, assisting in general shop tasks, and contributing to a clean and efficient work environment. This role also involves detailing equipment to ensure all machinery is properly cleaned and maintained before use or delivery. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and play a key role in maintaining the overall quality and organization of the shop’s equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with moving and positioning of machines and materials within the shop
Safely operate equipment to move, load, and position heavy machinery and materials throughout the shop
Perform general shop labor duties as needed
Maintain organization and cleanliness of the work area
Follow safety protocols and shop procedures as directed by supervisors
Conduct visual inspections of equipment and materials
Qualifications:
Mechanically inclined with a basic understanding of tools and wrenches
Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused on tasks
Reliable, punctual, and dependable work ethic
