Job Description
Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide essential services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This role involves assisting patients in developing and restoring their functional independence while adhering to state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Occupational Therapist's plan of care.
Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist with patient and family education regarding therapy and care plans.
Communicate patient status updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to ensure a safe care environment.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Active state COTA license (or the ability to obtain one).
Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
