Urgent Position: Occupational Therapist (OT) Jacksonville,Fl

Client: Major hospital (multiple campuses)

Job Summary:
Our Client is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions that help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide occupational therapy services to patients recovering from injury, illness, or surgery.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment goals, adaptive techniques, and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all Baptist Health policies, clinical guidelines, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and active Occupational Therapist license.
• CPR/BLS certification (preferred or as required).
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Previous hospital or rehabilitation experience is preferred.
