Junior Accountant Location: 424 West O'Brien Drive, Ste203 Julale Shopping Center, Agana, Guam 96910, U.S.A. Salary: $35,000 - $43,000/year Position Type: Full-time, Non-exempt (Hourly), Monday – Friday Reports to: Accounting Manager Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Junior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will focus on accurate financial reporting, compliance, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and familiar with accounting concepts and financial statements. Key Responsibilities Prepare Disbursement for Claims and Operational accounts Assist in preparation of month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies Assist in preparation and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SSAP Assist in preparation of NAIC filings to meet each state’s regulatory requirements Assist in preparation of tax documentation and compliance with state and federal tax regulations Analyze financial data to identify trends and insights, providing recommendations to management Collaborate with external auditors and support the audit process, providing necessary documentations, responses, and explanations Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Entry-Level Accountant (0-3 years of relevant experience in accounting) Knowledge of financial reporting standards (e.g., SSAP, NAIC reporting, or similar) Familiar with accounting and office software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, or similar) Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills A self-driven and proactive individual who takes ownership of their work Benefits 13 annual paid holidays Annual bonus performance incentive program Paid time off and sick leave #J-18808-Ljbffr DB Insurance Co., Ltd.
