Technical Architect (Cloud)

Overview Azure Technical Architect – Denver. Design and deliver Microsoft Azure deployments based on customer requirements and best practices. Your experience in architecture, design, and implementation of the Microsoft technology stack will help ensure success in this role. Responsibilities Designing, architecting and implementing industry leading cloud and Azure technical solutions by understanding client requirements through your consulting skills, both business and technical Creating detailed documentation including conceptual design, logical design, physical design, bill of materials, as-built diagrams, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, and transition to operations information Working as a subject matter expert to deliver projects from initiation through to successful implementation Managing different Cloud platforms including Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) across public, private, and hybrid environments Designing, implementing and supporting networking, virtualization, Windows, and storage and backup solutions Working with Entra AD, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Office 365 as needed Automating Azure tasks using PowerShell Moving or expanding Entra AD from on premise to Azure Migrating workloads to Azure Assessing client environments for migration to Azure Collaborating with other Long View units to ensure projects progress efficiently and in a timely fashion toward successful closure Keeping abreast of relevant industry certifications and accreditations aligned with key practices and technology partners Attending and representing Long View at industry events Qualifications 5+ years of industry experience working as a subject matter expert in the Microsoft technology stack 3+ years of experience advising on, managing and/or delivering cloud solutions, specifically Azure (IaaS, PaaS or SaaS) using Azure native or IaC Familiarity with Microsoft architecture and best practices Self-motivation and a collaborative working style Ability to grasp new technology concepts rapidly and assess their relevance for business needs Effective communication to different audiences in written, oral, and presentation formats Ability to manage multiple projects through to completion while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction Strong consulting skills What Makes You Extra Awesome Post-secondary education and Microsoft Certifications are assets Why Work at Long View Great people and culture Fun is one of our core values Career growth – Permanent staff positions, paid training, career life planning, and relocation and travel opportunities Interesting work – Be part of exciting projects while accessing all the latest technologies Flexible environment – A workplace that values flexibility for personal/professional growth, happiness and wellness Salary: $115,840 - $152,040 a year Equal Opportunity: Long View is an equal opportunity employer.
