Compensation for the Speech Therapist ranges from $100,000-130,000 annually. Apply today!
What You'll Be Doing in This Role: As a Speech Therapist at Tarboro Health & Rehabilitation, you will:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
- Provide therapeutic services and exercises to improve speech, language, and swallowing functions.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies for effective communication and recovery.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to monitor and report on patient progress.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatment plans, goals, and improvements.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in speech therapy and apply new techniques as appropriate.
You’re Probably a Match If You Have:
- A Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- A valid state licensure (or the ability to obtain licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- 1-3 years of clinical experience working with adults or elderly patients (though new graduates are welcome to apply!).
- A strong understanding of speech, language, and swallowing disorders, with expertise in developing individualized treatment plans.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
- Proficiency in maintaining records and using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on best practices in speech therapy.
