Maintenance Specialist

Compensation from $25.50 to $28.50 - (based upon experience) Full Time Day 8am – 4pm Maintenance Specialist is responsible for preventative and routine maintenance and the upkeep of residential buildings, grounds and equipment to maintain a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors. Qualifications: Formal or on-the-job training in plumbing, electrical, painting, maintenance, carpentry and general repair preferred Two years of related experience preferred Valid MD Driver’s License required High School diploma or equivalent preferred Able to work independently or as part of a team Effectively read and interpret documents and instructions Capacity to effectively troubleshoot and problem solve Responsibilities and Expectations: Complete all general maintenance of the community (basic plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, unit inspections, painting, work orders, carpentry and maintenance support). Perform preventive maintenance. Ensure cleanliness of assigned areas. May perform daily cleaning tasks as assigned to support community.
