Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med/Tele unit in Weatherford, TX. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Unit Highlights

• Unit: 2 South (610)
• Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekend Rotating: Yes
• Call Requirements: No
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Active TX RN License (temporary licenses are not accepted)
• BLS Certification - Required
• ACLS Certification - Required
• 2+ years of Med/Tele experience - Required
• 2+ years of hospital experience - Required

Preferred Skills

While not mandatory, candidates with the following skills will be prioritized:

• Experience with the Meditech documentation system

Essential Responsibilities

The RN will be responsible for the following:

• Promoting a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and healthcare providers
• Acquiring specialized knowledge and skills to provide high-quality care
• Demonstrating competence in nursing practice and adherence to facility policies and standards
• Supervising other staff as designated within the department

Required Skills and Experience

The RN must be competent in the following areas:

• Patient Experience and Care
• AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank You)
• Bedside Reporting
• Hourly Rounding
• Service Recovery

Dress Code

Uniform requirements include:

• Scrub Color: Navy Blue with designated embroidery (proof of purchase required)
• Nail Policy: Clean and healthy; no artificial nails, gel, or next-gen nails
• Hair: Neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors; must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer
• Beards/Mustaches: Must be clean and neatly trimmed
• Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible
• Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited

General Guidelines

All employees are expected to adhere to hospital policies and guidelines regarding attendance and floating practices as necessary.
