Human Resources Manager/RecruiterOur team is looking for a dynamic, culture-driven, part-time (average 20 hours/week), Human Resources Manager/Recruiter. This role supports a fast-paced company with staff in multiple states and growing. This position will work onsite in Arlington, VA and remote at times based on requirements of the project teams and the overall activities.Previous experience with federal contracting and an entrepreneurial environment is desired. We are looking for a genuine, people-person who will actively engage with and support our team members in their project roles. This role will also be responsible for all recruiting functions. Technical recruiting experience is required. Each day you'll source, vet, and prepare candidates for the internal interview process. If you are interested in working on challenging problems, having fun along the way with a team of passionate professionals, and making a difference for end users, you'll fit right in.Primary Responsibilities:Drives team member engagement programs and initiativesOversees and manages day-to-day HR activitiesDevelops HR strategy for the company in concert with the Support TeamOversees the onboarding and offboarding process for all team members to ensure smooth transitionsSources candidates from various recruiting platforms and referralsCandidate management which includes communication, tracking, and schedulingWork closely with Project Leads on candidate pipelinesTracks training and professional development across the entire company including requests and completion, making suggestions when neededAssists with Payroll process and compensation updatesMaintains personnel files using confidentiality on all mattersConducts investigations as needed for company issuesCollaborates with Admin Leads on personnel issues and files appropriate documentationProvides HR Policy guidance and keeps the company Employee Handbook up to date including state addendumsOffers performance management guidance to all leadersCollaborates, directs and manages various vendors on benefits and insurance products/programs that support the teamPlans and supports company functions for both in-person and remote team members to promote collaboration and facilitate employee gatheringsEnsures compliance with Federal, state, and local lawsWorks in tandem with leadership to execute Human Resources strategiesResearch application of employment law in concert with corporate attorneys and other vendorsWorks on ad-hoc assignments as needed; special projectsProvides support in coordinating employee business travel and expense reportingSupports resolution of GXM team member emergency issues after hours, weekends, etc. based on timeliness of the issue and prioritiesRequirements:Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or BusinessMinimum of 10 years' experience in HR field and supervisionExperience in the Federal government contracting space, specifically with OFCCP compliancePC-based strong familiarity and usageExperience with HRIS/ATS system (Paylocity strongly preferred)Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail in writing and verbal communicationsStrong ability to prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentMember of SHRMPrevious experience in Technical Recruiting requiredExperience recruiting for a federal contractorAbility to build rapport with candidatesStrong organizational skills in team and independent work environmentsExceptional communication skills across all levelsAbility to track and schedule multiple recruiting effortsUS citizenship is requiredDesired:Masters in Human Resource ManagementHR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.)Previous experience in a start-up / virtual work cultureServant Leadership"Get to yes" professional approachHourly rate between $50/hour to $75/hour + annual bonus eligibility, and 401(k)Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, federal government contracting and OFCCP experience, technical recruiting background, certifications, and overall alignment with the responsibilities of the position.Equal Employment Opportunity / Legal DisclaimerGXM Technologies LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility.
