Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an ICU Cardiovascular Specialty Nurse in Albany, New York. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position involves working in a high-acuity care unit with specialized skills in cardiac and vascular postoperative care.

Job Details:

• Location: Albany, New York
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; 2-3 years of staff Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) experience; Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience; experience in trauma level one care setting; prior travel experience preferred
• Additional Information: Competency test required within 24 hours of submission, sent via the candidate's email. Candidates must have experience with immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients requiring the ICU, including competencies with vents, arterial lines, spinal drains, hemodynamic monitoring, ECG interpretation, temporary pacemakers, and vasoactive/inotropic drip titrations. Navy blue scrubs are required. Local candidates are no longer being accepted by the organization after 1/11/2024.
