Small maintenance/construction office located in North Charleston SC looking for Contract Assistant.
Monday – Friday Flexible hours
Part-Time Position
Contract Assistant
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop contract proposals and researching solicitations
- Write contract letters, notices, and other communications
- Attend meetings regarding contract progress and take detailed notes
- Create regular status reports regarding progress on projects
- Daily/Weekly corresponds with Contracting Officers and Contracting Officers Representatives
- Maintains contract records, monitor contract performance and scope of work
- Assist with subcontractors
- Responsible for the administration of contracts
- Monitors the status of jobs - tracking deadlines to ensure all work is on schedule and compliance
- Performs other duties when required
REQUIREMENT/EXPERIENCE
- Ability to meet specific deadlines
- Ability to multi-task and have excellent time management skills
- Degree in Business Administration or related field highly preferred
- Must have strong computer skills and knowledge of common programs such as Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines
- Previous experience working with contracts strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive information
- Able to work INDEPENDENTLY as well as a team'
