Small maintenance/construction office located in North Charleston SC looking for Contract Assistant.

Monday – Friday Flexible hours

Part-Time Position

Contract Assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop contract proposals and researching solicitations
Write contract letters, notices, and other communications
Attend meetings regarding contract progress and take detailed notes
Create regular status reports regarding progress on projects
Daily/Weekly corresponds with Contracting Officers and Contracting Officers Representatives
Maintains contract records, monitor contract performance and scope of work
Assist with subcontractors
Responsible for the administration of contracts
Monitors the status of jobs - tracking deadlines to ensure all work is on schedule and compliance
Performs other duties when required

REQUIREMENT/EXPERIENCE

Ability to meet specific deadlines
Ability to multi-task and have excellent time management skills
Degree in Business Administration or related field highly preferred
Must have strong computer skills and knowledge of common programs such as Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines
Previous experience working with contracts strongly preferred
Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive information
Able to work INDEPENDENTLY as well as a team'
