Devops Engineer

Job Title

Has expert understanding of coding languages/technical stack of existing platforms. Collaborates with Product Owner to translate feature requirements into sound, creative designs that effectively weigh business and technical tradeoffs. Leads story and some feature-level development efforts. Continuously learns, adapts to, and incorporates emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

Works with a cross-functional team, uses agile practices, writes, and delivers/maintains code and tools. Actively participates in discussions with stakeholders from Product and Teams. Identifies and fixes problems in code and/or delegates to more junior staff. Reviews the coding work of more junior team members. Provides deep technical expertise in key functional areas.

Experience

5+ years of IT/Digital software development experience in Java/UI/UNIX background. 1-2+ years of experience with Docker containerization, Kubernetes, Rancher etc. 1-2+ years of experience with CI/CD tools like GITLAB,GITHUB, Jenkins, Circle CI/Ansible & Harness. 2+ years of experience with Cloud technologies like GCP. 1+ years of experience with Cassandra/Vault DB. 2+ years of experience in groovy/python/shell. Release/deployment automation/staging process knowledge is a plus. Experience with agile development required, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experienced preferred.
