Registered Nurse - Operating Room

A large hospital system in Springfield, OR is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for their Operating Room department.

Job Duties:

- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs.

- Document patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.

- Direct and delegate care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence.

- Ensure your own professional effectiveness through education and professional development.

- Participate in the development of and maintain established hospital policies, procedures and objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection prevention program.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an approved school of nursing required.
• BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program preferred.
• Specialty certification preferred.
• At least 1 year RN Perioperative (operating room) circulating experience in an acute care setting required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient's needs.
