We're looking for a friendly, dependable companion to spend time with an elderly gentleman in Taylorsville. While a male companion is preferred due to shared interests and companionship goals, we welcome all qualified applicants who enjoy building meaningful relationships with seniors. This is a low-stress, rewarding opportunity focused on companionship, conversation, and friendship. If you enjoy visiting with people, sharing stories, taking walks, and making someone's day a little brighter, this could be a great fit for you. Schedule 2–3 days per week Approximately 2–3 hours per visit Mid-morning hours (around 10:00 AM–12:00 PM) Total of about 6–8 hours per week What You’ll Be Doing Enjoying conversation and companionship Going for walks with him and his Labrador dogs Playing simple games and engaging in activities Encouraging him to stay active and socially connected Building a genuine friendship Who We’re Looking For A kind, patient, and reliable individual Someone who enjoys spending time with seniors Comfortable around friendly dogs Able to take regular walks and stay moderately active Experience with seniors is helpful, but not required This Position Is Perfect For Retirees or semi-retirees Veterans Empty nesters Anyone looking for a little extra income and a meaningful way to give back Someone who enjoys meeting new people and building relationships Why People Love This Role This isn’t a traditional caregiving job.
