2nd shift Machine Operator

Summary:Safely operate authorized production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Adjust machine settings to accurately complete tasks according to specifications and in a timely fashion. Perform manual tasks such as package, crate, label, count, and sort products. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Required to understand and follow all company policies and proceduresEnsure that all guard and safety equipment have been installed and properly checkedSafely operate machine assigned by the line lead, team leader, supervisor, or managerRequired to maintain quality standards on all productsMust be able to communicate clearly with co-workers, line lead, team leader, supervisor, and managerAdhere to ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and OSHAS 18001 certification requirementsRequires regular attendance per the schedule assigned by supervisorRequired to understand and follow all safety policies and proceduresRequired to understand and follow work procedures as set forth by all ISO documentationRead and interpret blueprints whenever required by operationCheck parts dimensionally with calipers and measuring tools to maintain engineering drawing tolerancesResponsible to maintain a safe working environment for all employeesRequired Skills/Abilities:Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within manufacturing environmentEducation and Experience:High school diploma or its equivalent is desiredWorking Conditions / Physical Requirements:Typical office/factory environment with possibility of exposure to heat in production areasMust be able to lift 50 lbs. in a safe mannerMust be able to perform repetitive motion.
