OB/GYN PhysicianLocation: Colorado Springs, COJob Type: Locum TenensOverview:A hospital and clinic-based opportunity is available for an OB/GYN physician to provide a mix of inpatient, outpatient, and call coverage. This role includes managing obstetric and gynecologic care in a collaborative group setting.Open ratesSchedule:Hospital: 24-hour in-house shifts (8:00 AM 8:00 AM)Clinic: 8:00 AM 5:00 PMCall Schedule:1:5 day call1:10 night and weekend callPractice Details:Setting: Hospital and clinicEMR: EpicOnsite lab and ultrasound (performed by technicians)Team includes OB/GYN physicians and advanced practice providersNo supervision of APPs requiredPatient Volume:Clinic: 20 patients per dayDeliveries: 8 per weekSurgeries: 8 per weekCase Mix:70% low-risk obstetrics10% high-risk obstetrics30% C-sectionsResponsibilities:Provide outpatient OB/GYN careManage labor and delivery patientsPerform surgical procedures as neededParticipate in call coverageCollaborate with care teamRequired Procedures:Vaginal deliveries and C-sectionsManagement of low-risk obstetric patientsFetal heart rate interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)Management of complicated deliveries (e.g., breech, multiple births)VBACsRepair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerationsPreferred Procedures:High-risk obstetrics managementOB ultrasound interpretationMinor gynecologic procedures (IUD, colposcopy, LEEP, etc.)Requirements:Board Certified OB/GYN RequiredActive Colorado License or IMLC RequiredClean background RequiredMust be able to perform required procedures RequiredNPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) RequiredCredentialing:Must be able to obtain privileges prior to startAbout WhiteCoat Locums:- Physician owned and led agency- Highest-Pay rates on the market- $1m/3m malpractice insurance and tail- 100% transparency
