Job Opportunity – Hematologist Oncologist – Michigan

Start Date: October 1, 2025

Location: Michigan

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM outpatient clinic schedule with after-hours call as part of a shared call pool (1 in 5 rotation). Call coverage 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM with APP support.

Highlights:

• FMLA coverage assignment from approximately October 2025 through December 2026
• Practice focus is primarily benign and malignant hematology (over 90%), with minimal solid tumor exposure
• Community-based practice setting with inpatient consult service, outpatient clinic, and attached infusion center
• Average patient volume: 10-15 inpatients during call/rounding, 15 outpatients per clinic day
• Collaborative team of 6 physicians with 5 inpatient and 6 outpatient advanced practice providers
• Epic EMR system in place

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology required
• Active Michigan medical license strongly preferred (candidates needing to obtain licensure will be considered)
• BLS certification required
• Ability to perform FNA/Biopsy procedures
• Participation in tumor board, ordering tests and imaging, and prescribing
