Job Description

Taxi Drivers are responsible for safely transporting passengers using vans, minibuses, or shuttle buses as independent contractors. They operate on flexible schedules including day and night shifts, providing reliable and courteous service while navigating routes efficiently and adhering to all traffic laws. Drivers focus on passenger comfort, fare collection, and maintaining communication, without the requirement to perform vehicle maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

Transport passengers safely and efficiently
Navigate routes to ensure timely arrivals
Inspect vehicles for safety before trips
Collect fares and provide accurate change
Deliver exceptional customer service
Comply with safety regulations and traffic laws
Communicate effectively with passengers and dispatch
Resolve issues and handle unexpected situations calmly

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in transportation
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in customer service
Strong time management skills
Defensive driving techniques
Effective communication abilities
Problem-solving skills
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
Cash handling experience
