Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

• 3 months of Trauma Level 4 facility is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Appalachian Regional Healthcare.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - 2 plus yrs current experience.

Preferred Credentials: - AVADE Level I & II preferred.

Special Requests: - Must reside at least 75 miles from facility to be considered; locals not accepted. - Assignment confirmation needs to be signed within 24 hrs of an offer. - Travel Pairs will not be accepted on the same shift or unit.

Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - 1:5/1:6 ratios; ratios can fluctuate with census and call-ins.

Shift & Scheduling: - You must be willing to accept 84 hours per two weeks scheduling (one-week 3x12, next week 4x12). - Every other weekend required.

Floating Requirements: - Float required within scope of practice only; 6040, 6041, Rehab, Transfer Unit, ER Hold.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
