Equipment Technician IV

Equipment Technician IV at AbbVie's Waco facility maintains and repairs production and packaging equipment on a night shift schedule. Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production and packaging equipment to minimize downtime and support on-time delivery
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate corrective actions to reduce defects and rejects
• Assist with equipment setup and changeovers during production runs
• Complete all required documentation related to maintenance, repairs, and equipment changes
• Provide guidance and training to less experienced technicians on preventive maintenance and line operations

Requirements

• Associate's degree in industrial maintenance or related field plus 2-3 years experience, or high school diploma with 3-5 years experience
• Advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency with multiple types of industrial manufacturing equipment
• Knowledge of maintenance methods and preventive maintenance procedures
• Experience in cGMP or FDA-regulated manufacturing environment preferred
• Current knowledge of SOPs, cGMP regulations, and safety training requirements
