Travel: RN - Med Surg - Nights

Contract | Nights | 3x12 | 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | 26-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Maintain professional accountability for the provision of patient care on a Medical Surgical unit
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers
• Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
• Float to other units as needed per facility requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 4 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Ability to maintain a 1:5 patient ratio
• Availability to work weekends and on-call as required by the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Experience performing duties consistent with established mission, values, and service standards
