The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for supporting the overall cleanliness presentation and functionality of guestrooms public areas and backofhouse spaces to ensure Live! Casino & Hotel consistently meets fourdiamond standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a welcoming environment by performing detailed cleaning tasks restocking supplies and responding promptly to guest and operational needs. Your attention to detail adherence to safety and sanitation procedures and commitment to delivering exceptional service directly contribute to guest satisfaction and the overall success of the property. By upholding established housekeeping procedures and working collaboratively with the team you help create a clean comfortable and memorable experience for every guest.

Responsibilities

Where Youll Make an Impact:

• Work alongside room attendants in emptying trash.
• Collects soiled linen for laundering and receives linen supplies from floor shoots.
• Pick up clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor laundry room.
• Perform duties of room attendant when necessary.
• Cleans rugs carpets and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner broom and carpet shampoo machine.
• Cleans rooms hallways and restrooms.
• Deep cleaning of FOH and BOH areas to include; wall and ceiling washing moving furniture and turning mattress.
• Sweeps mops scrubs waxes and polishes the floor.
• Maintains housekeeping carts.
• Deliver towels cribs cots and other items to the guest rooms on request.
• Sort linen stock room attendant closets.
• Remove soiled linen and trash from the poolside and other service areas and take to appropriate locations.
• Report missing/found articles damage or merchandise problems to the housekeeping supervisors.
• Respond at all times in a friendly helpful manner to guests and other colleagues.
• Take up any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when needed.

• Use a vacuum and carpet cleaner buffer ladder and shop vac.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Welcoming and hospitable attitude.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Zero (0) to one (1) year of experience in cleaning public buildings and/or facilities.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to:
• Communicate using a two-way radio with ear piece.
• Clean smoking areas.
• Push/lift up to 20 pounds.
• Stand and/or walk up to 7 ½ hours per shift.
• Stoop crouch and kneel.
• Reach overhead with arms.
• Ascend/descend stairs for at least 7 ½ hours per shift.
• Work in a sometimes loud or disruptive work environment.
• Require manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment

Working Conditions:

• 24/7 high energy casino with over 300000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees
• Exposed to alcohol cigarette and cigar smoke bright lights and loud noises.
• You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.

Please note that this is a union position and individuals in this role may be required to pay applicable union dues and fees.

Please note that this is a union-represented position and scheduling is governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Team Members may be required to participate in shift bids and shift assignments may change based on operational requirements and Team Member seniority.
