Role Description The role of a Human Resources Expert provides skills and experience in understanding federal, state, and local employment laws; using basic Microsoft Office Suite; and working with scheduling software and workforce management programs. Responsibilities Deliver a friendly guest experience by greeting guests within 10 ft, smiling, and initiating a warm interaction. Help guests find products, resolve issues, and ensure a smooth shopping experience. End each transaction with a sincere thank you. Support team efforts, assist peers, and maintain a positive and respectful attitude. Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an inspiring experience. Work with the HR leader to anticipate and address talent and staffing needs, ensuring the right mix of experience and skill sets for in‑store and digital shopping. Lead focused recruiting efforts to help store leaders find and hire candidates. Support team member and leader training needs and advocate continuous learning. Serve as an expert for scheduling systems and pay practices. Be approachable and available, listen to team members, and collaborate with leaders to take action as needed. Deliver on all HR processes and programs to maximize engagement and minimize disruption. Support the leader in following company compliance policies that mitigate risk to the team member experience. Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance. Work safely at all times, comply with all safety policies and best practices, and report hazards. Perform other duties based on business needs. Qualifications Enjoy interacting and helping others, including guests and team members. Can thrive in a fast‑moving, highly active, and physically demanding role with teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem‑solving. Open to a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days, or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times). Have a welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members. Can communicate on multiple frequency devices, operate handheld scanners, and use other technology equipment as directed. Work both independently and with a team. Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot. Pay attention to detail and follow multi‑step processes. Remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes. Accurately handle cash register operations. Frequently lift or move merchandise up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds without assistance. Capable of working in and exposed to varying temperatures and humidity while performing certain job duties, including Drive‑Up and carry‑out. Remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift. Flexible work schedule; attend scheduled shifts and take required meal and rest breaks.
