Responsibilities: Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages with accuracy and care Properly label, process, and prepare blood specimens for laboratory analysis Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile work environment in compliance with infection control standards Verify patient identity and review test orders prior to specimen collection Document collection procedures and update patient records accurately in the EHR system Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients to reduce anxiety during procedures Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and clinic-specific safety and compliance protocols Requirements: High school diploma or GED required Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification preferred or equivalent training Previous phlebotomy or clinical experience preferred Proficiency in venipuncture techniques including difficult draws Strong attention to detail and commitment to specimen integrity Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting About Us: Premier Medical Clinic Inc has been a trusted healthcare provider serving the Perry, FL community with a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
