Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer - Full Time

Ultrasound Technologist Opportunity in Suffolk, VA

An exciting permanent opportunity has opened for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) with an area healthcare client in Suffolk, VA where you will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer preferred.
• BLS certification.
• Experience working in a hospital-based radiology or ultrasound department preferred.
• Experience with adult and pediatric ultrasound protocols preferred.
• Ability to perform vascular and general abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts examinations preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and provide leadership in a clinical imaging environment, consistent with a lead technologist role.
