Manufacturing Test TechnicianLocation: Rock Hill, SCType: Contract To HireWork Model: Onsite – onsiteHours: 6:00am - 2:30pmRequirementsExperience in mechanical testing of rotating machinery (e.g., blowers, compressors, dryers).Proficient in using laser shaft alignment tools.Ability to measure vibration, pressure, and temperature using appropriate instruments.Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical connections for industrial equipment.Proficient with Windows-based computers and software for generating test reports.Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clear technical documentation.Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform precision shaft alignment using laser shaft alignment tools (core responsibility).Conduct mechanical tests on centrifugal blowers, compressors, and dryers following established procedures.Record and analyze vibration, pressure, and temperature data during testing.Set up electrical and mechanical input/output connections, including auxiliary equipment such as soft starters and water cooling towers.Generate accurate and detailed test reports using Windows-based software.Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.Communicate test findings, anomalies, and improvement recommendations to the engineering team.Follow all safety protocols and company procedures during test operations.System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
