AVIR at Pebble Creek is seeking a compassionate and motivated Per Diem Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an OT looking for flexible scheduling while providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive rehabilitation environment. Position Responsibilities Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans. Provide skilled OT services based on physician orders and patient needs. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve functional mobility, strength, coordination, and independence with activities of daily living. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate. Complete timely and accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, progress, and discharge recommendations. Collaborate with nursing, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, safety, adaptive equipment, and home programs. Maintain compliance with facility policies, professional standards, and applicable regulations. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Current Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing. Current CPR certification or ability to obtain as required. Previous experience in skilled nursing, subacute rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred. Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
