Job Title: Travel Patient Care Technician – Med/Surg

Location: Marlborough, Massachusetts

Rate: Up to $1,150 Gross Weekly + benefits available from day 1

Shift: Mid 2:45p–11:45p, 5x8-hour shifts | Every other weekend

Contract: 13 weeks

Hours: 40 hours/week

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Patient Care Technician experience
• Acute care experience required
• Must be comfortable working with adult and geriatric patients
• Must be willing to float as needed
• Must be able to work every other weekend
• Local and travel candidates accepted
• First-time travelers are welcome

Certifications: BLS required

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Obtain and document vital signs, intake and output, and other patient information
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, repositioning, bathing, hygiene, feeding, and toileting
• Perform finger sticks and assist with routine catheter care
• Obtain and transport specimens as needed
• Perform and document 12-lead EKGs
• Assist with patient transport
• Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment
• Follow infection control, isolation, and PPE procedures
• Assist the nursing team with patient care needs
